Measuring and Mounting

Inside Mount Only
Use a steel tape to measure the opening at three different places, and use the narrowest dimension when ordering. Be exact! The factory will make the shade narrower so that it will not rub against the window casing. Measure the height of the window from the top (Soffit) down to the sill.

  • Balcony Shades are for inside applications only.
  • Minimum required for installation: 1 1/4 inches
  • Minimum flush Inside mounting surface: 2 1/4 inches
  • The widest width of the window cannot exceed the narrowest width of the window by more than 3/8 inch.

    This shade can be used in horizontal and angled applications 0 to 75 degrees: Angle
    Minimum Width 15 inches Maximum Width 36 inches
    Minimum Length 12 inches Maximum Length 96 inches
    Total shade area must not exceed 24 square feet


    Angled Applications 15 to 75 degrees: Angle
    Minimum Width 15 inches Maximum Width 36 inches
    Minimum Length 12 inches Maximum Length 96 inches

  • Balcony Vertical Applications
    This shade can also be used in vertical applications 75 to 90 degrees: Angle

    on their side. Use the vertical
